These socks !!! Amazing I walked 26 miles for Alzheimer’s on Saturday and I felt nothing until 20 miles. I did a 26 miles walk the year before and was in pain at 10 miles.
I didn’t think there was a sock that could stop the blisters and the pain but here they are !
Yes I have a few blisters but that’s to be expected but no where near the amount I had the year before.
Very light material, difficult to put on having to guide each toe into proper pocket.
Why do you only make up to US size 13? Why is it so hard to find stuff for those of us with size 15 feet
I bought 4 pairs for an 18mile/29Km charity walk. It was done with only 2 x 10 minute breaks over 5.5hrs with a decent pace of 17minutes per mile. Normally my feet would start to burn up at the 10 mile mark meaning stopping and putting on blister plasters, however i did the full walk without even a hint of hot feet or blisters. I gave my mate a pair for the walk (he doesn't usually walk much) with the same result. I don't go walking without them now.
Tried them on a 4 day tramp and no issues with blisters! That was a first for me!
I have just tramped three days in my new socks and am converted! I was unaware of my feet the entire 50kms and preferred to wear the one pair of Kintoes all three days, as I took three types of socks with me in case my new experience with Kintoes didn't go well.
My feet are 25cm x 10cm, I have unusually long toes, and the medium short kintoe.com/products/coolmax-ankle are the only socks I want to wear anymore. I did trial by fire, taking them on a weekend camping trip to Sequoia National Park. NO BLISTERS. NOT ONE in a weekend full of hiking and driving! I honestly didn't expect them to be this...
Was hesitant about the converting to toe socks but my Kintoes have been great for trail running and long hikes. About to take them on the TA - may need to order replacement pairs on the trail!
They're so comfortable, normal socks feel like coffins in comparison.
The most comfortable socks I’ve worn for walking - no more blisters from toes rubbing together! They also provide others with interest and entertainment at gym classes!!
I like them because some of the trails I run on have puddles of water that I can't avoid. The socks are quick drying & that's a big plus to me.
bought a pair as I'm training to do the Camino de Santiago and have heard great things. been a couple of months of use now, and I love them, they are the best pair out of all the other merino sock brands I have tried so will buy more pairs. just wish there was an option for people with wide legs LOL
After almost getting blisters while hiking, I was happy to find Kintoes merino wool toe socks. I have them in both lengths - they fit well, are comfortable, keep my feet dry, don't get stinky and there are no more rubbing-toes-issues! I live in a tropical country and these are lightweight enough to use...
Love these socks. I signed up for The Big Butte Challenge in Bend, Oregon. I had already done 3 buttes before I got these socks and had some hot spots develop. Since I’ve used the Kintoe socks no hot spots, blisters or rubs. They are great socks!
